Deacon 7228 Paste Sealant is a Kevlar® fiber fortified, pliable setting, chemical resistant, gasket and thread sealant.  No heat is required for curing.  Deacon 7228  is unaffected by thermal cycling and forms a pliable, mechanical-type seal that will not hinder or interfere with future maintenance operations. When applied, 7228 will flow, filling small voids and surface irregularities, creating an effective seal between gasket and flange surfaces.
