Deacon 8875 Paste Sealant

Deacon 8875 Paste Sealant is a thick, fibrous, heat curing, sealing compound for gasket dressings and metal-to-metal surfaces.  8875 is designed for high-temperature, high-pressure applications. The fully cured product is unaffected by thermal cycling and forms a pliable, mechanical-type seal that will not hinder or interfere with future maintenance operations. When applied, 8875 will flow, filling small voids and surface irregularities, creating an effective seal between gasket and flange surfaces.  As the product cures, it will expand.  Deacon 8875 is designed for non-threaded, metal-to-metal connections.

For threaded connections, use Deacon 8875-Thin Paste Sealant.
